Hi! We’re Steve & Wendy, a husband and wife team that have been styling venues in and around Peterborough and Stamford for the last four years, maintaining the presence of an Ambience stylist in the area since 2010.
We’re now one of the most recognised names for venue styling in the area and currently recommended by over 12 venues including established wedding venues such as Orton Hall Hotel and Haycock Hotel, to the brand-new purpose built Sissons Barn.
The reason we’re so highly recommended is our dedication to providing our clients with a professional service from the creation of their vision to the implication of bringing to life. We always strive to involve the clients in the process, so they feel that they have been a part of the journey and get to enjoy the experience. From the initial design consultation, to follow up meetings at their venues to discuss it, to liaising with the venue so the clients don’t have that hassle. We look to make the procedure stress free and enjoyable, with results they feel blown away by.
Steve worked with professional photographers for 8 years and has great ideas and visions of what can look great in a room, and Wendy’s attention to details and knowledge of colour matching, floristry and, in general, how to make things look good, means we are one of the most dynamic styling company’s around the area.
Inspiration and Guidance
This allows us to listen to your ideas and bring them to fruition. Sometimes there may be options to develop the ideas, sometimes it may mean going back to the drawing board. But with our wealth of experience, our large amount of stock at hand and a portfolio of countless ideas and stylings done previously, we can help people get to a bespoke styling they would love for their day.
Some people may be completely befuddled by the whole process and need their hand holding throughout; no problem, we’re more than happy to do things at your pace as well as discuss or show you as many ideas as necessary to ensure you get the bespoke styling you want.
And once we do have a vision and ideas from you, we’ll send you a mood board after the appointment to give you time to reflect and reconsider before committing to get a quote.
With styles and fashions for weddings and events always changing it’s imperative that we keep at the front of the queue and be able to offer our clients the latest looks. To this extent not only do we hold a lot of stock and have access to a lot of other stock, but we also have a large list of suppliers who provide, more or less, everything you can think off. (Singing pink elephants excluded!)
An example of our ability to offer items is the recent surge for chiavari chairs at venues as opposed to the banqueting chairs many provide that need covering. We’re currently now providing these to clients at a number of venues as opposed to the venue’s chairs. And the results are amazing!
We’re always ‘on tour’ as we like to say, and do a number of wedding fairs across the region as well as staging a lot of open days/evenings at venues we are recommended at.
