Farnham Castle overlooks the historic town of Farnham, Surrey. For 800 years, the Bishops of Winchester used the Castle as a home and administrative centre. Most of the monarchs of England from King John to Queen Victoria visited or stayed at Farnham Castle.
The Castle consists of two parts
You can choose to have either a religious or civil ceremony at Farnham Castle . If you are planning a civil ceremony, you will marry in the bright and contemporary Lantern Hall, which is licensed for up to 150 guests. For an intimate religious ceremony the 17th century Bishop’s Chapel is truly unique. While small, and suitable for ceremonies with up to 60 guests, it’s the perfect setting for your religious ceremony. The ancient Norman Chapel, the very oldest part of the Palace, is available to couples that would prefer a Church of England marriage service and is licensed for up to 80 guests.
Farnham Castle provides a luxurious, elegantly designed Honeymoon Suite for the bride and groom and has 32 en-suite bedrooms with beautiful views across the grounds for your guests.
