I have owned the Leeds area of Ambience for over six years now and I’m delighted with how the business has grown. Our Head Office has been a huge support during that time including last minute stock requests, advice on business growth, new product development and motivation at our annual conference.
Our franchise package includes stock, equipment, marketing materials, stationery, corporate clothing plus personalised web pages which generate significant leads. The national web site and our stylist pages are hosted and maintained by head office who also carry out national marketing on behalf of the franchise network.
On joining our network franchisees have access to our subsidised stock hire bank of over 8,000 styling items ranging from chair covers and sashes through to aisle runners, starlight backdrops, topiary trees and table centrepieces. Our franchisees can also use our Ambience network forum to hire stock to one another as a way of expanding their product range and increasing their revenue. In 2016 we are launching AMBA, a virtual assistant for our franchisees which will provide invaluable administrative support to our stylists to save them time.

If you join Ambience’s wedding franchise you will not be on your own; we will provide you with initial training over 2 days at our Head Office, a full Franchise Manual and continued support as you develop your business. We will support you in the early stages and guide and mentor you until you are on your feet. Our Franchisee Support Programme covers venue styling trends, marketing and sales, customer service, business planning, financial management and IT and operations. We hold regional meetings for our franchisees to get together to learn, share knowledge and socialise. We have a Franchisee Forum, AMBA our stylist’s virtual assistant, a documents library, network newsletters plus network benchmarking information so that you can see how you are doing compared to other franchisees. Our team at Head Office have a strong business background and provide support and mentoring as well as practical guidance on how to replicate our success in your region.
In order to make a successful Ambience wedding franchisee you will need to be a people person who is enthusiastic, creative and determined. You will need to be flexible with your work patterns (our franchisees find this a big plus particularly when moving from an employed position). You will need to work some weekends (usually Saturday mornings) and quite often meet with brides on an evening.
