GDPR does not specify a time limit for client’s details to be retained as there are a number of lawful regulations already in place such as VAT that state data should be retained for at least 6 years.  For those franchisees that are not VAT registered, we request that they cleanse their data every 12 months with a view to removing any data that is no longer required.
