Real Wedding – Stephanie & Luke at Rushpool Hall
Beautiful shades of blue have graced the wedding scene over the last few months and as we look back at where it all began this summer, we had to feature Stephanie and Luke’s fresh and uplifting wedding ceremony and reception at Rushpool Hall in Saltburn. Situated in the North East, the venue is closely located to Luke’s family and the large ballroom that is flooded with lots of natural light, was one of main reasons for them choosing this as their wedding venue.
Featuring styling and decor by Emma and her team at Ambience Venue Styling Teesside, this blue and white colour palette complimented the venue’s interior perfectly.
Back in June the country was starting to see the easing of restrictions with guest numbers being slightly increased for weddings in England. Couples were still faced with challenges when it came to planning certain aspects of their wedding day but Stephanie and Luke didn’t let this stop them from having the most incredible day!
What sort of theme/look did the bride and groom want?
A light blue and white colour palette was used throughout the venue decor. Stephanie and Luke wanted to create an elegant and timeless look with a mixture of both candlelight and foliage/floral details so we opted for centrepieces that consisted of floating candle arrangements and bud vases of spray roses, avalanche roses, gypsophelia and eucalyptus. The top table then featured a heavier eucalyptus garland with varying heights of candlelight introduced for a romantic finish.
For the wedding ceremony, Stephanie and her bridal party walked down a candlelit aisle with white petals scattered amongst the floating candle holders to further define.
What were the key accessories used to create the look?
Eucalyptus, blue napkins and chair drapes were some of the key elements within the styling. Dressing the chairs with white chiffon really softened the look.
We asked Stephanie “What did you like the most about your styling?”
One of the things that worked best within our wedding styling was the light blue napkins with place names. It’s amazing what a difference a coloured linen can make to the table. Keeping everything else really crisp and clean and then adding the subtle blue napkins just elevated the whole table decor. Emma also used dried bunny tails as an accessory for each place setting.
Wedding dresses and bridesmaids
Stephanie’s twin sister, Katherine was her maid of honour and the bridesmaids all wore dresses in Icelandic blue by Dessy.
The stunning bridal gown was d2771 essence of Australia and it was the lace detailing on the dress that caught our bride’s eye! Stephanie said she didn’t have long to pick because of the shops being closed during the pandemic so it was a bit of a rush order but I’m sure that we’re all in agreement that she looks beautiful!
A huge congratulations to our newlyweds!!
