We’re very excited to announce that Ambience Venue Styling York will be working alongside Thicket Priory and we thought it was only right to share this secret gem with all of the couples out there who are still searching for that perfect location to say their “I do’s”

This brand new, exclusive use venue officially opened its doors in January. Beautifully restored, this enchanting Victorian piece of history set amongst 18 acres of countryside, is the perfect combination of original feature architecture with modern day elegance.

Thicket Priory houses a stunning ballroom seating up to 250 guests, a choice of ceremony rooms, a private chapel and 35 unique and stylish en-suite bedrooms, each one with their own distinctive features!

The attention to detail is remarkable with so many heartwarming and thoughtful touches throughout.

Not only does the Bride get the best room in the house, so does the Groom! Showstopping beds with luxurious linens, classic roll top baths and views of the lake, you could be forgiven for being late to the ceremony!

This venue offers everything you need under one roof. From the moment you check in and you’re given the key to your specifically named room along with a map, you’re encouraged to explore and experience all this venue has to offer!
