CORONAVIRUS FAQs

With this becoming a rapidly changing issue we have created this specific section on our website where we aim to provide the latest information on how it may affect your bookings and events.

Please be sure to check back regularly as we will be updating this page frequently.

This guidance remains under review and may be updated in line with the changing situation.

Local COVID Alert Levels

On 14 October the government introduced a system of Local COVID Alert Levels. If you live, work or volunteer in an area that is subject to ‘Local COVID Alert Level: High’ or ‘Local COVID Alert Level: Very High’ regulations, additional restrictions will apply to many activities.

These additional restrictions do have significant implications for wedding and civil partnership receptions and celebrations. These have been included in this guidance.

Please visit the Local COVID Alert levels guidance to find out what level your area is in and the additional restrictions that apply.

What will will happen to my booking from October 2020 - March 2021?

By law no more than 15 people can attend any marriage or civil partnership ceremony, even where large numbers could be accommodated with social distancing in a COVID-19 secure venue. 15 is the maximum number for all attendees at the event, including the couple and guests.

This guidance is only applicable in England. For guidance in Scotland, please refer to guidance from the relevant national governments.

Is my booking at risk if it takes place within the next 12 weeks?

As this is a rapidly escalating problem, we are monitoring the situation on a daily basis and will continue to adhere to all advice provided by the WHO and local authorities. Our priority is to keep all of our stylists and clients safe and we will continue to do our utmost to fulfil all bookings. If the situation changes your stylist will contact you directly about your upcoming booking in order to provide the most up to date information.

In the event that your booking has to be postponed due to Government advice then please rest assured that we will do our very best to reschedule your booking to a date that suits both yourself and the venue and we can provide a list of available dates upon request.

What happens if you have to postpone your wedding due to contracting the virus yourself, guests not being able to travel or you have to self isolate?

Rest assured that we will do our very best to reschedule your booking to a date that suits both yourself and the venue and we can provide a list of available dates upon request. We would look to reschedule this for a date prior to and including March 31st 2021 at this stage.

What happens if your stylist contracts the virus, comes into contact with someone with the virus or shows symptoms of the virus and your wedding is within two weeks of this happening?

Under the recent guidelines from the Government, your stylist will be advised to self isolate with immediate effect in the interests of public safety. We appreciate that this will be very upsetting/concerning news for you but please rest assured that your stylist will try their very best to find someone who can assist on the day or at least provide the stock to you. These are exceptional circumstances and in the event that your stylist is unable to provide a solution you will be entitled to a full refund minus your original deposit.

What happens if the local authorities lockdown your local area, lockdown the country or your venue must be closed?

We appreciate that this will be very upsetting but we are under strict Government guidelines to follow protocol and it is within the best interests of yourself and your guests as well as our stylists and the general public.

Please rest assured that we will do our very best to reschedule your booking to a date that suits both yourself and the venue and we can provide a list of available dates upon request. We would look to reschedule this for a date prior to and including March 31st 2021 at this stage.

How do I currently book a consultation to discuss my wedding/event styling?

Due to the recent Government guidelines, all of our stylists are working from home and are ready to answer any questions you may have as well as provide lots of inspiration. Consultations can be held over the phone, on Skype or via Zoom so just contact your local stylist directly to arrange. Alternatively email [email protected] and we can put you in touch.
