Create The Perfect Christmas Table Setting In Your Home

Whilst Christmas is going to be a little different for many this year, lots of people are styling out their homes with decorations, door wreaths and are now considering how to create the perfect Christmas table setting. We’ve created 5 completely different looks to get you in the festive mood and reaching for the spruce, candlelight, charger plates and napkins! So whatever your style, there’s sure to be one for you!

Traditional Christmas – Burgundy, Gold and Green

Run a spruce garland the length of your table to create this look and instantly fill the room with the scent of pine. Intersperse coloured taper candles and bring in pops of burgundy as your accent colour with bud vases of simple florals and bring your tablescape to life with some low level tealights too.

To create a really modern take on a traditional look we used delicate gold rimmed glassware, gold cutlery and charger plates with a contrasting burgundy napkin to pull out the colours from the tablescape.

Nordic Home

Beautiful nordic inspiration, perfect for a neutral or grey room. Again use a spruce garland to create this look with grey and brown taper candles interspersed throughout. We then added clear glass bud vases with white bouvardia florals and silver dyed skimmia to lift the whole look. Add elegant place settings with silver beaded charger plates, white napkins and a festive pine cone accessory.

Glitz and Glam – Champagne Luxe

An elegant opulent look for those that are wanting something more glamorous. We created a tablescape with muted gold and champagne accessories all positioned on a champagne sequin table runner to really reflect all that incredible candlelight! To soften the look we used simple avalanche roses and champagne dyed skimmia and completed with eucalyptus stems.

To take this look to the next level we then used delicate gold rimmed charger plates, gold cutlery and gold rimmed glasses!

Woodland Vibes

A really opulent, rich woodland feel to this look – a modern take on a traditional rustic design.

We used a bed of leather leaf ferns as our base for the tablescape and then layered this up with copper and clear vases of florals and foliage. To add a festive edge we used dried orange slices which complimented the warmer tones of the copper and then teamed this up with pine cones.

Brown ceramic plates with wheat coloured napkins and cinnamon sticks wrapped in twine were used to add a little festive charm.

Neutral/earthy elegance

A eucalyptus garland was used over the top of a wheat linen runner and then this was all about the candlelight. A minimalist woodland design using deeper tones of copper and brown, lifted with complimenting coloured taper candles, pillar candles and matching linen napkins. Brown ceramic plates were layered on top of silver beaded charger plates for a touch of elegance.
