I am sure that you will agree that we are blessed with some of the most beautiful and outstanding venues in the country, I couldn’t chose my favourite even if was asked to!

So when you started to look for your perfect wedding venue did you look at a traditional country house or an old fashioned barn with old fashioned oak beams? It is an exciting time in your life and your dream wedding day is now becoming a reality.

I personally don’t have a favourite venue or theme for a wedding as I enjoy styling all of my venues and each wedding has its own unique touches.  I like to visit the venue with you, the bride and groom, and talk to you about the interior décor of the room so that I can get a feel for what will look you are thinking about and give you some ideas.  Lots of brides have many many ideas about what they want for their special day and I am happy to give you even more ideas and tips to get the very best look at your venue.

For instance, room draping can add a very romantic effect but if the venue has wonderful décor or beams and high ceilings try to complement it with just small light effects rather than covering the beams up.  Time of year will also play a part in styling as the colour tones will change and the venue will change in the natural light. If the venue is rustic and old looking again try to work your wedding theme around the venue style and go for neutral tones and add a splash of colour within your table centre pieces. I always enjoy the simplest of touches which add the most effect.

Remember your wedding day is the most special day of your life and you want all of the little and big detailing of your wedding to be perfect …..who wouldn’t!
