Where to use a green colour palette
This incredibly versatile colour palette works at a wide range of different venues due to its ability to “fit in” almost anywhere so it’s no surprise that it’s a top choice by wedding planning couples!
With this in mind, when our talented stylist, Ellie from Ambience Herefordshire & Worcestershire was invited to style an inspirational open week at the stunning Deer Park Hall Estate – an exclusive use Cotswold Countryside Venue situated within 1400 aces of rolling countryside, she took the opportunity to create a design concept that would showcase multiple different ways to style this trending colour scheme and the response she got was incredible! You guys loved it! We asked Ellie to take us behind the scenes…
An idyllic wedding setting
After becoming a recommended supplier for Deer Park Hall, I had the wonderful opportunity to style for their open week. To make the week even more special, I arranged a photoshoot with many of the other talented recommended suppliers. It was amazing to collaborate, connect, and see the vision come together with a combination of skill sets, much like a wedding day itself.
The venue provided the perfect setting – The Bredon Room, with stunning exposed oak beams & a wall of glass showcasing panoramic views onto the Deer Park , Stag Oak Vineyard & the Malvern Hills, really is a beautiful setting for any wedding reception. It’s neutral colours and modern barn theme provides you with a relaxed country feel, allowing the outdoors to breathe life and light into the space.
We seamlessly incorporated the natural surroundings into the design, bringing in fresh greenery to enhance the ambiance. As the sun set, it cast a warm, golden glow, creating the perfect opportunity for stunning photos.
A versatile colour palette
I wanted to showcase a variety of ways of working within the same colour palette to help couples see how they can personalise their decor whilst still achieving a cohesive theme. We curated three luxurious tablescapes using sage green, ivory and gold. Each supplier involved adopted this approach and each concept had its own unique features.
For the floristry, Renata from The Fairy Florist felt it would be very fitting to display a combination of simple sculptured arrangements, potted plants, meadows and fresh green foliage to display the many ways that florals can be incorporated into your styling. Often clients can think that large floral installations are the only way to create impact, but artistic, flowing tablescapes are just as effective!
Wedding cake that takes centre stage!
@daniellescakespershore created two gorgeous cake designs which were further styled out with two trending ways to add flowers to your cake. Gone are the days where couples simply leave their cake to one side on a table in the darkest depths of a room. It’s all about staging your cake, making it the centre of attention and giving it the pedestal it deserves!
