Spring 2022/23 wedding season – The must have list!
The spring/summer wedding season of 2022 is fast approaching and we’re so excited to be welcoming the new season into our lives! This will be our first spring season of weddings since 2019 after the devastating Covid pandemic put a stop to life as we remember it. Now as we all emerge from winter and as blossom trees begin to add true romance to the streets, here at Ambience Venue Styling UK, our stylists are preparing for wedding season to take off in a big way from April!
18 new openings!
Since January of last year we’ve opened a further 18 Ambience businesses across the country and we’re now working with more couples than ever before! So what can we expect to see feature within wedding decor across the warmer months?
Spring flowers and pastel colour palettes
Spring/summer weddings in 2022 and 2023 will be filled with pretty pastels and depending on the month in which you get married, you’ll have a stunning range of seasonal blooms to choose from. Florals will still have a distinct organic and unstructured feel to bouquets and arrangements and there will be more of an emphasis on featuring scented stems of flowers to really draw on all of the senses.
Living Plants
Potted plants, ferns and herbs are coming to the forefront in the wedding and event industry, offering a sustainable, cost effective decor option for wedding couples. Multipurpose plants can be used at entrances, on staircases or to define your aisle and can then be used as centrepieces afterwards. Using scented herbs will personalise your wedding day and provide a calming, inviting atmosphere for your guests.
Outdoor space
Wedding venues with beautiful grounds and lush gardens are at the top of the “must have” list when it comes to searching for that perfect venue that ticks all of the boxes. Spring/summer weddings offer outdoor space that has literally come to life with colour and foliage so even if the sun isn’t shining, you can certainly make the most of nature’s beauty for your wedding pictures!
Tablescapes
Table details have never been so important to couples planning their wedding! In fact, it’s all about the details. Luxury tablescapes of feminine florals, an abundance of candlelight and opulent accessories will be gracing tables across the UK this spring/summer season. Glass charger plates are also highly desired, offering an elevated finish to the wedding reception so be sure to speak to your stylist about the options available for your wedding day!
