You want your wedding day to reflect the kind of people you and your other half are.

That’s what will influence the style of dress, your shoes, your stationery, your venue, your flowers etc…

So how do you know what wedding theme is going to suit you? What’s the secret to styling wedding themes?

Well, our expert wedding stylists have created a variety of different wedding looks for different couples. Here’s a few to browse through to help you choose your own wedding theme.

Love colour. Then this style of wedding is for you!

A colourful wedding day

If you love vibrancy, colours, brights, then this style of wedding is for you. Colour can be used in so many different ways. Check out the bright napkins! The table settings are anything but traditional with brightly coloured blooms in different sized vases, even the water for the flowers is bright too.

styling wedding themes in neutral

Here’s a wedding we styled at the Harrogate Bridge Inn

Neutrals for a wedding

Of course, bright colours aren’t going to suit every couple. You may want to have a more classical look to your big day in which case neutrals are just perfect. Think in shades of cream, ivory, white and taupe. They will all work together as your base palette.

Here’s a wedding one of our stylists created for a very happy bride at the Harrogate Bridge Inn in Yorkshire. The venue is spectacular with plenty of original features like beautiful mouldings on the walls, ceilings and fireplaces. In fact, some of the rooms looked almost like wedding cakes!

Our stylist and the couple wanted to bring out these elements so created a colour scheme that would be complimenting the natural beauty of the venue. Chair sashes were in a silvery organza material, chair covers in white and classic cream roses used as table centres and decorations around candles. Just perfect.

This is an example of where the venue is so spectacular, the styling needs to work with it and we think you’ll agree that our stylist and the couple did just that.

rustic wedding day

Rustic wedding styling by one of our stylists

A rustic wedding day

If you’re a country girl at heart, then you might have your heart set on a country style wedding day. In which case you’ll be in very good hands if you choose one of our stylists, as these images show.

This was a rustic showcase our York stylist put together using all sorts of different props to get the mood just right. You’ll notice that there is a lot of lace used in this theme for example on the chair sashes and on the tables. Lace works well for a rustic, country wedding theme. It has that classic vintage look and it’s also very pretty and on trend. However the large illuminated LOVE letters added a contemporary touch to this rustic look and formed the perfect backdrop for photographs.

pink wedding day

Love pink? How about a wedding venue like this?

Pink wedding day

Some girls just love pink. And there’s nothing wrong with that. Pink is a fabulous colour for a wedding day. It’s warm, inviting, there are plenty of flowers in pink and in fact there are many different shades of pink, from a hot pink like the wedding we styled above to something a little softer and subtler, a dusky rose pink wedding theme like the one we styled below.

Soft pinks and sequins

All the images above show completely different styles of wedding, which is where the talents of our stylists come into play. They’ve worked with many different couples, all with different personalities and helped them to find the wedding style that is their very own.

In addition, they’ll source all the props you need to get your wedding day looking just the way you want it too. Whether it’s large wooden barrels for a rustic wedding or chic metallic candle holders for a vintage style wedding day.

If you like what you see here then you really should get in touch. You’re not under any obligation to take things further but we’re sure to be able to help you to get the wedding style you’ve dreamed of.
