Sustainability

A trend that we’re seeing everywhere now – sustainable and eco-concious, environmentally friendly weddings. Therefore the most important thing to look for in paper/card to be used for stationery, is that the paper comes from sustainable forests. Stationers are searching for card/paper that comes FSC certified. FSC is the Forest Stewardship Council and they’re an organisation that makes sure we’re all being responsible with the world’s forests.

Vellum Paper

Vellum paper offers a modern but soft vibe to any stationery suite and is being teamed with embellishments and wax seals over the next couple of years. This is one style that is proving incredibly popular due to it’s versatility and contemporary feel.

Botanicals – Greenery and Florals

Illustrated florals on invitations are now steadily moving towards a bigger focus on greenery and foliage. Florals will still feature on stationery, but with a wilder feel, rather than the more traditional classic look.
