A neutral, organic green wedding aesthetic

Our talented stylist Malin, owner of @ambiencesouthdowns, recently collaborated with an amazing team of industry suppliers at Froyle Park to deliver a portfolio of green wedding inspiration that ticks so many boxes for lots of wedding planning couples!
Earthy tones are in!
To incorporate neutral organic green wedding decor, focus on a palette of natural textures and muted greens, complemented by warm, earthy tones and natural elements.
The foliage and materials that you use within your styling can largely influence the overall feel of your styling so speak to your Ambience stylist about working with products and stems that best achieve the look you’re aiming for.
Botanical floral design
For example, this stunning spring time design featured a minimalist approach using individual stems in bud vases to create a luxurious tablescape that was both simple and incredibly effective. Enhanced with gold details that are warm and rich in colour, the candlelight brings the centre of the table to life!
However, if you’d like to opt for a heavier look, embrace greenery in all forms, from bridal bouquets and buttonholes to centrepieces and backdrops. Build up feature areas within your styling such as fireplaces, your cake table, window ledges or the base of your wedding signage with an abundance of greenery and pops of neutral floral stems.
High impact place settings
To ensure a cohesive feel throughout the table decor, the place settings here were layered with bespoke menu cards and place names that contrasted perfectly against wheat linen napkins. Using coloured stationery that pops against the colour of your table linen is a great way to create a distinguished look.
Holding an intimate dinner? Take things to the next level with simple floral stems presented on each place setting – fresh white tulips used here, completed the look to perfection.
Glassware and flatware
To add further depth and character to the table setting, gold cutlery was used alongside decorative porcelain plates for a highly refined finish that adds sophistication to each place setting. There are so many options available on the market, this is really about selecting pieces that best coordinate with your florals and decor.
Looking for added definition? Switch out your clear glassware for coloured glass such as these gorgeous deep green glasses which again adds contrast to the overall design.
Neutral Accents
Pair greens such as olive green, moss green, forest green and sage green with earthy neutrals like taupe, grey, champagne or ivory for a balanced look. Seen here with this trending fabric wedding sign, each neutral tone is used in just the right ratio.
