Modern luxury design featuring wedding trends for 2026
October 31st, 2025
We asked Jo to take us behind the scenes and provide us with an insight on the design concept that set the scene for this stunning bridal shoot…
Styled bridal shoot at le Petit Chateau with By Meg Bridal
“Le Petit Chateau is a dream for creatives and stylists so I was thrilled to be invited to team up with some epic suppliers on this! The venue’s pale stone paired back to soft green walls creates natural warmth and the ideal backdrop for timeless and romantic designs. We wanted the styling to echo the balance and femininity of By Meg Bridal’s stunning dresses. Modern silhouettes paired with delicate details and handcraft.”
“The colour palette was soft and harmonious in creamy whites, muted blush tones and hints of sage green, elevated with accents of antique gold. A really stripped back, yet contemporary palette that offered refined elegance and worked seamlessly with the natural aesthetics of the room.”
Oversized, dramatic draping
“We’ve seen draping become significantly oversized and dramatic throughout 2025 and this will continue into 2026 with flowing fabrics featuring high on the must have list for clients. With this in mind, for the banquet wedding breakfast table, we wanted to incorporate layers of white chiffon which ultimately then became the foundation of the styling and reflected the shape of the gowns. Cascading to the floor, this gathered and ruched design created a sense of movement and lightness, softening the lines of the table and adding instant dimension and luxury.”
Artistic fruits
“On top of the table, clusters of bud vases and delicate florals were arranged between rows of tapered candles creating an intimate setting.Scattered fruits added a subtle touch of old world charm, creating a scene from a still life painting that has come to life.”
Trending wedding florals
“The florals created by @roseandbloomlytham had a modern and sculptured feel so as to best represent trending floral designs coming through into the industry for 2026. Calla lilies are taking the top spot with clients, growing increasingly popular for bouquets and buttonholes. We loved how well this style worked with the models and gowns.”
Throughout the day, Kiss the Bride Photography captured the atmosphere beautifully, turning every frame into a story. The models brought so much energy to the shoot – ethereal and graceful. A huge shout out to everyone involved, it was such a honour to be part of this!
