Style Edit: Styled Collaboration
Sept 4, 2019
It’s hard to believe that the falling leaves of autumn are on the way, we’ll all soon be wrapping up in coats, scarves and boots! Hold on though, before we all start shopping for our Halloween outfits and counting down the days to Christmas, we had to share this super on trend photoshoot designed and created by our talented stylist Emma from Ambience Teesside and some of the finest suppliers in the North.
The wedding and events industry is starting to see a gradual shift from neutral tones to statement pops of colour. We’ve already started to see this trend working it’s way into summer 19 and with autumn being the season of colour, what better time to explore your options in time for 2020!
We spoke to Emma to find out more about the ideas behind the design at the breathtakingly beautiful, Yorkshire Wedding Barn, Richmond.
On the 16th July we had the pleasure of organising a photoshoot at the stunning Yorkshire Wedding Barn in Richmond. We chose Pantone’s colour of the year – Living Coral, to be our accent colour which we brought into the styling through the linen and florals in order to make a bold statement against the natural brickwork of the venue. We used ‘hot off the press’ accessories and props such as geometrics, neon signs and textured linen.
Deep base tones of navy contrasted perfectly alongside the coral with complementing highlights of gold to add warmth to the design. Stationery provided by Darling Ivy sat proudly on the charger plates and added finesse to the bespoke place settings.
Living in a world of social media means that clients seek to have a dedicated feature area for those all important selfies. What better way to create this than with our NEW neon sign ‘Crazy in Love’ which we styled as a backdrop to the sweetheart table – intimate, dedicated dining for the Bride & Groom.
Incredible florals by The Countryside Florist adorned the venue and added a vibrant, fresh feel to the look. You must check out the fabulous moon gate – another huge trend and the perfect way to add a backdrop for your wedding vows! A similar feel followed through into the cake table decor, what can we say other than wow?! Definitely a cake too good to be eaten.
A huge thank you to everyone that was involved in creating this photoshoot, captured by Emma Marie Photography. Thank you also to the team at the Yorkshire Wedding Barn who looked after us and were a pleasure to work with. We’ll leave you with some images to swoon over and a full list of credits to get your wedding planning kick started!
