The summer months are always a busy time for weddings but is there ever a quiet time for weddings? Weddings take place 365 days a year and take many hours of careful planning which includes choosing the music for your special day…
Not only do you have to think about your venue, your colours, your food, your invites and many more items but you also need to think about your first dance and what is your song going to be?
You may be one of the lucky couples that already have a song in mind mainly because you already had ‘your song’ as a couple. But if you are not one of the lucky ones, how do you go about choosing the perfect one for you? Our advice is simple and it doesn’t need to be complicated, just think back to the time when you met or when you had your first official date or maybe your first holiday and memories will come flooding back to you. We are sure you will find something in your old CD collection!
Ambience HQ has been looking to see if would could find the most up to date list of downloaded wedding songs of 2014 so far and we found this on Spotify. Spotify had taken time to view 1000’s of wedding themed songs from many playlists to try and pull from it a selection of the Top 10 songs. There was no science behind the findings, it was just a simple exercise that was completed for fun but we think Spotify are pretty accurate with their finds based on looking at the songs and thinking ‘wedding first dance’.
