Wedding Table Decor Ideas
Table Décor: Crystal tea lights and table runners bring colour and romantic sparkles to a table, but if you want to add the ultimate glamour styling to your tables, think about looking at Candelabra’s.
Candelabras: A growing favourite and a classic center piece. Candelabras can vary in height and style. Silver is very glamorous and stylish, whilst ivory and crystal is perfect for a vintage or softer look. Candelabras can be dressed with flowers, strings of diamante or pearls and much more.
Table Centrepieces: Choosing romantic candles to statement flowers, centrepieces are the essential way to finish dressing your tables. Consider the room size and how your table are being put out as you may want to choose taller centrepieces for larger rooms with fewer tables to “fill” the room but if it is a small room or full to capacity then more subtle centrepiece ideas may work better.
Storm Vases: These are a favourite, large storm vases filled with sand and a large pillar candle with decoration of moss, flowers and ornate décor around the storm vase creates a stunning centrepiece that can be used all day and into the evening celebrations.
Fish Bowls: Think about your bouquet and add matching flowers into the Fish Bowl display. You can have candles or baubles for a Christmas wedding.
Birdcages: Having a Vintage themed wedding is very popular and beautiful birdcages of various sizes and shapes from the traditional bell shape to the square birdcages will add to this even more character of Vintage. Filled with candles or flowers will create a truly gorgeous centrepiece.
Trumpet Vases: Lets get dramatic and striking, silver trumpet vases filled with flowers of your choice look beautiful and offer an alternative to glass centrepieces.
Ice Sculptures: If you are looking for something that is different, ice sculptures will create a real WOW factor. From ice sculptured designs to flowers frozen within the sculptures that are a beautiful addition to your table decor.
Napkins: Napkins will be the last thing on your mind but double sided contrasting colour napkins look stunning especially in rich tones that complement other table decorations.
Place cards: Co-ordinate place cards with your choice of favours. For a personal touch look to hand write the cards in a glamorous style, using a calligraphy pen or if you can’t do you know someone with a creative hand to help you.
Favours: Favours are a fantastic array of choice now but dependent on how much you want to spend think about simple and inexpensive favour boxes or bags in neutral colours and then glam them up with accessories that match your main colour or styling element.
Finishing Touches: Your finally ‘finishing touches’ will compliment your chosen wedding theme. Venue and table decorations such as Diamante Chair Sash Buckles and matching Diamante favours will look amazing and will catch the light beautifully. Something as simple as this will create maximum impact.
Some Ambience Handy Hints
- Check with the venue that you have chosen if you want to use real candles as some venues will have restrictions about the use of candles and this may determine what type of centrepiece you choose. Don’t worry if you can’t use real candles we have options available with realistic quality LED candles.
- Don’t forget the mirror plates and tea lights for your centrepieces, as these will finish the look of your wedding breakfast room off.
Key Items to Think About
- Is my wedding breakfast room large or small and how many people will be attending. (this will determine the size you may need)
- Would I prefer height from my centrepieces to be visible across the whole room or something more delicate to allow guests to view across the table?
- Would silver, gold or glass centrepieces be best to suit my colour scheme and the room?
